2d Arg. of Hofman. If the Spirit be to act, it must needs be under the command of the Soul in the Vessels; for after that it is entered into the Sea of the Vetricles, what is there to compel the same to return into the strat passages of the Neves?
3d Arg. The Ventricles are surrounded within, with the Pia Mater, which inders the ingress and regres of the Spirits.
4. Arg. Hofmans strongest Argument is this: Seeing the two superior Ventri∣cles, open into the third, and that into the Funnel, and it into the Pallate, who will be Suety, that the Spirits will not mae their escape this way?
5. Arg. The Ventricles are not continued with the Nerves, but with the whol Body.
6. Arg. The Ventricles have now another Office, which cannot stand with that of the Spirits.
