Here endeth þe prolog of Albyon, þat þo was an Ile. and herkeneth now how Brute was geten, & how he slow, ferst his Modir, & Afterward his fadir; & how he Conquered Albyon þat After he nepned Brytaigne, after his name, þat now is y-called Engelond, After þe name of Engist of Saxoyne.
