ca. 36 kilometers south-west of Autlán de Navarro on Mexico highway 80.
Habitat
Foot of the seaward slopes of the sierra. Grazed area in tropical perennial-leaved forest with large Ficus spp., Psidium sartorianum, Bursera simarouba (s. l.), Randia spp., and Piper spp. Soil in red laterite. Common on forest floor among rocks.
