Full Artifact Description: The above measurements do not reflect warp and weft direction. This is a fragment of needle knitted (cross knit looping?) fabric. The piece was knit in the round. The beginning circle is preserved. Above, the fragment is damaged and becomes flat. Above this point, decreases were formed. There are remnants of stitches along the edges.

Condition Notes: Somewhat dirty and very worn. There are several small and one large interior hole, as well as a few small edge tears. One small piece has separated from the fragment.
Fabric Structure: Needle knitting (cross loop knitting).
Sewing: There are several linen stitches along one edge, many very deteriorated. The only complete stitches measure 0.5 cm each. These stitches are at the point where the circular knitting becomes flat. There is also a small cluster of three wool stitches with the linen stitches which are still intact. The wool stitches measure 0.3 cm to 0.5 cm long.
