- Full length studio portrait likely of Augustin Shingwauk (son of Chief Shingwaukonse) standing before illustrated backdrop wearing feather headdress, sash, garters, and moccasins while holding walking cane. Subject also appears to be wearing two medals. Photographer stand visible in background.
- Photograph possibly taken in relation to fundraising initiatives for Shingwauk Indian Residential School undertaken in conjuction with Rev. E. F. Wilson.
- Subject possibly Buhkwujjenene, younger brother of Augustin Shingwauk.
