In the background, the figure of Columbia, under an archway labeled "White House" and brandishing the severed head of an African American man, chases Lincoln. Lincoln, wearing a Scottish bonnet and cape, says, "This don't remind me of any joke!!" George McClellan walks toward the archway from the right. Cf. Gale.
