Derogatory depiction of an African American couple at a dance ball. "Mr. Lorenzo" and his female dance partner hold hands as they waltz. His partner, wearing a huge pink headpiece adorned with feathers and a blue and yellow dress with huge puff sleeves, asks how he likes the waltz. "Mr. Lorenzo," dressed in pantaloons, a green coat with tails, and an oversized bow tie and collar, responds that he believes the waltz is "for de common people."
