THE GOOD SAMARITANE

And Iesus answering said]

Answering said.

A certaine man went downe, &c.

[Hierusalem.]

[Iericho. ]

[Theeves]

And fell among Theeves. ]

And departed.]

[And by chance.]

A certain Priest, &c.]

And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side]

He passed by on the other side]

[A Samaritane.]

As he journied came where he was]

And when he saw him he had compassion on him]

He had Compassion]

[And went to him. ]

And bound up his wounds, powring in wine and oyle. ]

And set him on his owne Beast. ]

And brought him to an Inn. ]

And tooke care of him.

And on the morrow when he departed, &c.

And on the morrow.

He tooke out two pence and gave them to the Host.

Whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come againe I will repay thee. ]

Which of these thinkest thou was Neighbour to him that fell amongst Theeves?
